Careful consideration should therefore be given to both the packaging material and label choice to ensure compatible materials are used for recyclability. Labeled packages can typically be recycled if the label content and surface coverage are low enough to facilitate recycling.

Glass Packaging is endlessly recyclable, however, the challenge lies in removing self-adhesive labels cleanly. Our responsibly sourced renewable wash-off paper labels are the ideal solution for enabling reusability of glass and plastic packaging.

To enable packaging recyclability, our recommendation is to use recyclable combinations.

Where cardboard/corrugated packaging is used, a paper label can be used and is deemed recyclable as long as the label's weight does not exceed 20% of the total packaging weight.
Plastic Packaging with filmic/synthetic labels can be recycled. For PE packaging a PE label should be used, likewise, for PP or PET packaging a PP label should be used to facilitate recycling.
